The Big White Dress

Apparently my theknot.com time line suggests that I should be in the process of ordering my dress. However, like all things that theknot.com has suggested, I am behind. I've been dress shopping twice now and haven't found the dress that I must have. I'm starting to believe that finding the dress is somewhat of a farce created by the wedding industry to convince you that you must spend $3000 on a dress you only wear for one day. But, on the other hand, I have found a dress that I think is
1. Beautiful
2. Inexpensive (Thank you David's Bridal)

But it doesn't "feel" like the dress.

If you've known me for a while, you probably know that I picked out my dream dress a long time ago...the Melissa Sweet "Hallie"

Should I go to Needless Markup...ahem...Neiman Marcus...to try it on?

yes. go try it on. believe the hype. you have to have THE dress. that way you can pass it on for generations (i'm totally considering wearing my grandma's dress!).

plus. trying on wedding dresses is so fun!

Trying things on is totally free.... plus then you'll know, you never want to say "What if..." Also, if you go, I can tag along and look at all of their lovely purses :)
